Has anyone been hired who is over age of 50? Asking, as I know a pilot who has 13,000 hours ME, many as PIC who has worked in corporate aviation for most of his career but wants to fly for airlines.

Tell them to apply! I'll be 52 this month. I have a September class date, if that helps. I have no 121 experience.

SWAPA SR committee says the plan published in June hasn't changed. 2 classes for August.

I know its been answered on this forum before but I cant seem to find it. I interviewed with SW a few years back and was not hired...water under the bridge. Now im interested again but I want to hire someone to review my logbooks and I want to have a professional redo my resume. I would guess that there are companies / individuals out there that do this type of thing exclusively for SW. Any suggestions?

My apologies if this is the wrong thread but looking for thoughts and insight from the group on next steps to make my flight experience more attractive to SWA.
Currently have the base minimums for United currently flying 135 on a Citation Excel. I have the opportunity to move to a much better paying Part 91/135 job on the same metal or go back to 121 on the Airbus with an ULCC. Have some 121 experience with a regional a few years back but no 121 TPIC.
Education - Master Degree, Military - No, Volunteer Work - Yes, Internal United Recommendations - 0, Job Fairs Attended - 0
