Both. I just tell the FO that I’ll submit it after I get home.

Default Destination 225 military pathway

By chance, would anyone have contact info for a southwest recruiter to discuss destination 225 military pathway?

Default Sooooo....help for D225?

From what I've read in this thread, seems ya'll are not fond of D225. Obviously all pilots have to do the CFI until they get time to even qualify for any ATP but at least D225 has some measure of guidance and pathway in that direction.
With that said, my son wants to be a pilot. I don't know where I went wrong. As we look at schools we are also looking at Programs to help him. I'm begging for help - why?
I'm the one cosigning for the loans. I know we will have to carry him while he CFIs his way thru hours. If anyone has tips on the interview process or tips, preparations he can do, anything to help, I'd really appreciate it.

Another thread on a different forum put it this way - SWA is an absentee landlord. Their kid is in the program and is being drug along slowly. SWA basically has zero input into getting students through the program. In the end, there is no job guarantee. Yes, it's a pathway, but it isn't a good one. All ATPs is way better in my opinion. Same money, better timeline. Every week that your kid doesn't have their ATP is lost seniority. This hiring wave looks like it is about to crest and I wouldn't want to be on the far backside of it.

My son and I looked at all these different programs and ultimately settled on a well-equipped mom-and-pop FBO for his training. Every single one of these programs felt like they were run by a used Cadillac salesman. Just sign off on this 100k dollar loan, son, and you'll be in the left seat at a major in no time! My kid just finished his instrument rating and is working on his commercial, and will have all his ratings for far less than any of these snake oil operations are wanting.

To anyone wanting to be an airline pilot I would say get a degree in something useful and find a good local FBO for your flight training. You'll be fine.

Might be better to look at United's Aviate program, at least that is a well structured, proven pathway program. D225 seems less refined to me.
