Thankfully we learned from your forced acquisition and made our cab prohibit most of the crap that happened to you.

Oh poor thing. You took a small temporary pay cut, became much more senior in your seat, achieved a contract that AT would never have given your lifetime, earned over a MILLION more at SW than you would have at AT and you are in the small minority as over 90% never took a pay cut and 50% got an immediate 40% raise.

I lost over 50% of my retirement seniority due to the influx of people that were younger than me being put ahead of me. In return I got no pay raise, no better contract, no additional flying just people in front of me yet I don't cry like a whiny baby every chance I get. I have moved on and only bring it up when the crybabies think that all that extra money, more bases, more stability, better contract and somehow they got screwed.

Wow.... the MAX deal must have you down in the dumps. I haven’t seen you talk like this about SWA before. You’re generally a little pessimistic about furloughs, but this is a new twist. Bad couple trips? You good?

Are there Airbus operators that have Airbus’ without autoland? I thought it came out of the factory already installed, but maybe not.

Ok. That’s gonna do it in my opinion. I’m fairly confident that the SWA BOD will insist on an acquisition of a suitable carrier or addition of a different fleet type. This is getting ridiculous and anybody in their right mind would want to shield the business from a future occurrence like this.

This won’t get settled until after the election next year. This is way beyond “safety” - it’s pure politics.

Trouble is, the market is hot. Buying someone at this point would be lunacy and our bean counters (as long as they don’t come from our Scheduling) are too smart for that...
