Good gawd, I’m scared to have your “kind” voting on the next TA.
I never said it was ideal. Just said it’s still possible to maintain the same pay.

My “kind”.

that's an interesting idea. I sure hope not but there's no telling what management will do.

For once I agree with you. What an utterly ridiculous attitude. We are so screwed.

Not really since you’re probably talking about 2017 or earlier. Let’s look at real numbers, Last year we had 2000+ pilots. 24 left for other airlines, only 5 were Captains. Of those 24 only 2 left for SWA (I’m assuming they are FO). We had as many leave for 135 as for SWA. Let’s not pretend many of our pilots are trying to get out like they are use to especially to SWA.

Is the ability to work more days each month in order to “pad” the paycheck a SWA-specific “advantage”/“benefit”? At Spirit, F9, DL, UA, AA, Allegiant, etc are pilots able to work extra days if they want to?

Not that I consider needing to work more days per month to bring my income up to a peer at Delta, for example, a benefit but apparently, bewilderingly, some people do. It seems like one of the appeals of being an airline pilot has always been the general idea of working fewer days for a relatively high income instead of having to work more days to produce a higher income.

How many pilots has Spirit hired from Southwest? (“real numbers”)

0 far as I know, but I was responding to the “I know many CA from Spirit who has left for SWA”. That statement no longer applies, which comes from actual numbers. Because SWA gained 2 pilots from us and we gained 0 from them last year doesn’t mean anything, especially only 2 out of 24 left for SWA. Look around and you’ll see many “Should I leave this airline for that airline” post

Probably not that many. We could try to find actual numbers, but in following your example it is much more fun to be vague

I assume that was 2-3 years ago? Which was what I was trying to point out. We had many pilots including CA leave for SWA, before our current contract (2018)
