I've been an MCO CA since it opened 20+ years ago, and it's historically been a popular last domicile for those pre positioning for retirement, as well as a popular snowbird base for the carpetbaggers from the great white north.
I am pretty senior, and still get a few folks coming in above me on almost every vacancy bid.

Thank you to everyone for the information. The replies seem to confirm that even though PHX is currently a more senior FO base, the hiring may allow me to get it within a year ..... or not

Obviously a lot of variables, but I'm familiar with the LAX commute - so that would be ok for a little while.

Im just saying, YMMV with what you can get. I was displaced 7 months ago after holding BWI for almost 2 years. (And I didn't want BWI) SO yeah, for bottom 200 or so its been a ride.
I Agree if we hire people should have no issues getting what they want within a short timeframe. IF they hire and things don't slow down.
