I saw that. Take a look over Labor Day weekend.
Is that the rumored used aircraft purchase? It's weird. I assumed it was an error.

That was a disturbing film. Well acted, but disturbing.

are you talking about the report that lists block hour, departure and fleet makeup by day? There’s a note on there that it’s only considered final through some date in the future...so I think big bumps like your Labor Day fleet change may not be accurate. I’m looking at the Market/Station frequency report which I think is accurate further out. I don’t see any notes that say otherwise. Maybe I missed it.

last updated yesterday morning, shows a change in M-F departures August into September of 500 additional flights..

Yeah. They are both kinda lumped together on SWALIFE so I wasn't sure what they were called. I saw the note about the schedule not being final, but that was like 2 weeks out. The fleet numbers make total sense until Labor Day time then they get weird. Obviously we can't give specifics here, but suffice to say if it were true, it would be very good for this pilot group.
That frequency report is good because it gives you trends in the future. Take a look at Denver and basically every station west of there. If you are wondering where the growth is going to be, look left on the map.

Allegedly, there is another NG purchase in the works to replace the high time 700s and allow for flexible growth. I wouldn't assign that rumor much reliability. It came from a check airman who probably also saw Ferris pass out at 31 flavors last night.

I do generally lean optimist, but definitely temper that with reality. Getting ready to pass my 8 year anniversary, and I don't see an upgrade happening for at least two years, probably more.

Dallas News says something similar today, but it's behind a pay wall, so can't see it.

I thought the union said that the company has been adding more available flights to see what the customers want then pulling them back 6 weeks out. I'd say that's what everyone is seeing.
