Yep. I live in a SWA domicile so I need to decide on that or commuting for Delta. I’m soliciting life advice from strangers on the internet if anyone has an opinion.

You won’t upgrade in PHX, so you will commute at WN eventually. That’s how I see it.

DAL has very commutable lines. Wide body FO in LAX quicker than cpt at WN in PHX. Cpt at DAL anywhere faster than at WN anywhere. More pay, easy work days, and fewer days worked once on Widebody. I'd go to DAL in your situation hands down. That PHX-LAX commute is super easy.
and like others have said you'll have to commute to upgrade out of PHX if you want to upgrade under 15yrs.

1/25 is the only new hire class for Jan. I was originally in the 2:8 but was moved up. Called yesterday to move up to the 12/14 class but not able to swing it.

too bad. By starting one month later you'll have to wait 27 months to get your first profit sharing check.

If there is ANY way you can swing it, there are some profit sharing benefits if you can show up to the 12/14 class. But not the 1/28 class.

Is there a document that shows at which point you will upgrade For the different bases ? Specifically looking for LAS. I’m in same boat as above poster whether to commute to LAX from LAS for DAL or in domicile for SWA.
