Because the information you provided does not meet the minimum requirements for this role as outlined in the description, we will not be moving forward with your application at this time. However, we strongly encourage you to search and apply for other available positions at Southwest Airlines that might be a better fit for your qualifications and experience. New opportunities are posted regularly on our careers site.

Hard not to be like…. Ummm what?
I got that auto generated email from my two previous application submittals during the open window. 3rd times the charm and I’m an FO at SWA now. Back in the day the 737 was a prereq and it was not uncommon to get an interview invite with a subsequent TBNT after the interview just to truly see how bad you wanted to be there. That was before my time, but just saying don’t let the tbnt email discourage you, and I’ve already said it twice on doing an app review.

It sounds like something caused them to think you are not a pilot. A better fit…gate agent or baggage handler (all due respect to all those gate agents and baggage handlers I know.)?

That’s for sure an app issue that shows you don’t meet minimum requirements. Some box checked or left unchecked about an ATP, first class medical, speak English, have the radio operator permit, etc. the minimums listed in the job opening description. The jab question now too. Just recheck those very basic questions. Print it out and have someone else take a look as well.

Vaccinated and put that on there with my card

Current 121 FO, prior 135. About to upgrade.

Appreciate everyone’s responses!

Love SWA family, just disappointed to get the TBNT in such short fashion.
I'd echo what everyone else has to say and triple check your PC profile and SW Careers portion of the application. Likely an error somewhere. Did you do a review?

As far as your quals, get that upgrade done and fly. I think the quals are changing, but the TPIC/TT is on the low end compared to *most* I know getting the invite. Many are still civilian 121 check airman or CA's w/2000+ TPIC/management as well. That being said, if they want to hire as many as they say....this will change. Good luck!!

Agreed. He won’t be able to check the application because it’s gone now. He will have to create a new profile with a different email address. Double and triple check it before submitting. It needs to be done today though, as the window closes on the 4th I believe….

Not for me, and not trying to stir, but it sounds like they want to see a history of updates, so starting over will stop that. Is that a problem or do they just want to see a recent update?

not true. I received interview invites to both email addresses. Gave me a reason to call them to straighten things out and it was in that phone call I was given the thumbs up to move on to decision board and was given my drug test info.

Good. Have seen a lot of posts about the company wanting you to update often, and if you start over with a new email you lose that history. I am not applying, but was curious.

i submitted in this window (my third time) and I noticed that although nearly all my information was still there from previous applications, several questions had been added and others no longer had information that I had typed in during the prior two. Maybe some information you thought you had typed in was no longer there?
