Because it's apparently more fun to use our (now increased) dues to throw parties and rallies that reach maybe 10% of the pilots in each domicile.

10,000 pilots paying for a party for maybe 1000. Real good stewards of our money huh? Money that SHOULD be spent on pickets, billboards, and other public displays of frustration and anger.

I think whatbweve asked for is that 401k excess or PS excess be able to go into that. Of which I woukd agree to.

Seems like the company doesnt want us to have sick time anymore
If it’s 1:1 and the money put into that account is 100% mine…that’s one thing. Get some seed money into the account so interest can do its thing.

Doubt that’s what the company has in mind though.

True statement. Did you raise this with your BOD rep?

To be fair these events are designed to get people educated on the current situation and SAV. If you haven't been to one, I strongly recommend going.

I've flown with guys who gripe about the exact opposite, complaining about the pickets and how they perceive them as pointless and a giant waste of money. To each their own. I think we ought to be doing more of both pickets and union informational parties.
