So there's same day overlap on Friday between the sick call and when they're planning to nonrev. You're saying he's fine to do that, even on probation?
...disregard wrong MOU

Just to add to this. I called in sick in the middle of a 4 day 2000 miles from home. Scheduler offered to book me something home when I called in but I was actually not feeling well enough to travel all day. I was told by the scheduler, “I can book you something now or you’re on your own.”

Safe to say I felt the LUV that day. Anyway, I nonrev’d on SWA home once I was feeling up to cuz how else was I supposed to get home?

Your base chief pilot and coordinators may have been better able to take care of you. Try them next time for that must ride.

There is no MOU or Scheduling Policy Letter that addresses this. However, NONE of the LOA's are available on the SWAPA site.

Might be worth dropping an email to your domicile rep and asking why the LOA's are MIA.

www.swapa.org > Log in > Committees > Contract Admin

Near the bottom there's a horizontally-scrolling section labeled "Resources," and MOUs is one of those. Open it up.

A few MOUs will initially show below, but if you click the blue "Show More" box, a bunch more will come up. Open the one labeled "Non-Rev" dated December 9, 2016.

This. And despite the very specific sounding language in the MOU, it applies to all pilots who are out sick. If you need more info, contact SWAPA contact admin or your rep.

They couldn’t figure out where hundreds of pilots were during the meltdown. Unless you put an obvious target on your back, you’re good.

Grease knows what he is talking about. Don’t worry about it , but do not be making TikTok videos while NR or on vacation being sick .

Bingo...
The last time I heard about a pilot being harassed for pass travel while out sick is...never.
Stay under the radar and you will be good.
