I hadn't heard about the class donation or new hire party...but I did hear that the class elder and class baby stuff was found offensive by other work groups at the Ops Day. Same thing happened back in 2016 with my class. Pretty lame but I'm guessing that's why those traditions get shelved from time to time. Maybe when they start back up again, we just need to leave that stuff behind when spending the day with the more woke employees and save it for when we're back in our cave?

I remember hearing this rumor about a couple classes behind me too (2017 hire). It is probably either more common than you think or the rumor is just a good one to spread around...

I’m sure it has happened before and it will happen again. From a credible source, this new Baby is a special kind of outlier and pot stirring problem. 5 & 20 at this point but we all have to fly with this new normal
