From: DOWNGRADE COMPLETE: Thanks Gary. Thanks SWAPA.
What’s concerning is that a SWAPA rep was seeking an assistant CP position. Conflict of interest(?).

I guess this was a MDW only email. I have no real idea what happened other than it sounds like a former SWAPA MDW rep wanted to be a chief pilot and is mad at a current MDW chief pilot because he or she stood in her way?

This email shows exactly what I'm talking about in the other thread. This is why the company is stonewalling. Every communication from our reps should be about hardening our resolve for industry-leading contract, educating our RLA-ignorant brethren of the steps, prime people up for a strike vote so we vote unanimously to send a very clear message to the company. Instead, we have this.... I reckon things are good and nothing needs to be changing. We just need chiefs to be more politically-correct, and voila... all's well.
Simply disgusted.

Don’t know her and people are absolutely allowed to have a change of heart, but that letter didn’t help. At best she didn’t get her point across very well.

The letter seemed more of an axe to grind and a personal vendetta . JMO
My guess is she will be interviewing for the asst CP job and getting it next time around

FWIW, some things never change around here.
