I guess i should be posting this on the RJ forum as I cannot imagine someone from UAL, AA, DAL,JB et al acting like such an idiot. Since i work for swa and i know most people read many different forums, I'll post it here. Can we all just stop the meows, the "where's *******", and the "Guarddddd" comments?
I'm not a stickler, but 121.5 does have a purpose.
i see a lot of the guys i fly with leave the volume for comm 2 off 'cause it's become a nuisance.

Maybe grow the f up??

Yep. CP-DLC, SATCOM, on board WiFi, ACARS, etc. and our primary communication is still with technology invented before 1910 and not much improved upon since the 1960s.

I had one captain who made sure I put 121.5 in standby.. on the ground... and pointed out I had to listen to it... because that's the way he wanted it to be. Faaaak.
