What does the difference between someone LAS E vs LAS mean for a reserve? Do they spare you from the regular flying in case there’s an ETOPS sick call or something?

Never said it was, but it’s dropping…which most everyone would agree is a good thing. Save for ATL/MCO, you’ll be able to hold any base in the left seat in under 8 years soon….

Oh ya, also no long call reserve, very few commutable trips, and no ability to give trips up to the company.
Thank you for posting this graph, very helpful.

Not entirely, but if there is a non-etops reserve available they'll get the domestic trip before assigning it to the EBG reserve. Even if it's a turn and the EBG reserve has 1 day left and the non-EBG reserve is starting a 4-day. this info is a few years old though so maybe they've closed that loophole...

So going with the plumber analogy, plumbers cost $XXX per hour AND get paid parking at the job site!

We can’t keep letting these guys get away with selling every little perk and benefit of being an airline pilot for an extra buck or two per TFP! There is a lot more to a mature airline CBA than pay rates.
Ask them to point to where in our rates do they actually account for getting paid more instead of getting paid parking when most airlines these days get paid a higher rate and have paid parking.

And servers that don’t hate your guts, and hate the fact that you’re even there. Also Ferris wheelers gives 20% discount to swa, and has better beer selection and music, and less hotel conference/basketball team crowd.

All training in Dallas. Indoc is about two weeks, rolling right into systems for a week, then rolling right into automation and CPT procedures for a week, then rolling right into sims for two weeks. Mostly 6 on 1 off with a varying 3-4 days off between systems and automation and then a couple days off before sims depending on your schedule.

Whole footprint is about 60 days.

Seen your name a couple times- appreciate your insight mate.

Don’t have a CJO yet, hoping for big things shortly. I live about 40 min from DAL, so it’ll be nice to be near home.
