Two in my Indoc class in July left the hat wearers for SWA. One lived in Fort Worth and the other in Oakland. Makes complete sense. Don’t buy in to the negativity in here too much.

top up sessions were very helpful to practice 'Tell me about a time' type questions and and the Scenario Based Questions. Definitely relax and be yourself, but it is good to have some specific examples ready for certain questions that you will be asked. (Ex: TMAAT you made a mistake in the cockpit; TMAAT you failed as a leader) They did ask if I used interview prep and I was honest and upfront about it... they didn't seem to care. Received a class date a week later that starts about 6 weeks from the date of CJO. Good luck!

I’m not sure what you’re smoking but the negativity is VERY justified. What once was a company that had employees who didn’t worry about their financial viability is no more.

Of course. In the short time I’ve worked here I’ve had an absolute blast. I don’t know too
much about this industry but I do know everyone in this pilot group deserves a hell of a lot more and I’m willing put it on the line for that. I haven’t encountered a single pilot that even hesitated when we’ve talked about it, both young and old. Everyone has been an emphatic “yes.” The “woe is my pilot group, I must be the only SAV yes voter” attitude I’ve seen here is insane and disconnected from reality.
Whack, I wasn’t calling you out in particular. You’ve been very helpful. What I mean is that the negativity here doesn’t reflect what I see when I fly. New hires aren’t coming to work here for two weeks, having an enlightened vision that this place sucks, and quitting. They’re leaving because this place was a paycheck placeholder to begin with until Airline X calls with a class date. Ask any new hire you fly with how many job offers he has. It’s an insane market now.

I have an interview coming up. Would the window now being closed mean more time on the bottom, or would it be imperceptible before they open another window and bring people on?
Last time I got in shortly before hiring slowed and the light at the end of the tunnel absolutely vanished.
