I certainly hope we aren't moving out to that trailer park, but I could see the ULCC gang happily packing up and moving out there if the price is right.
Ground controller also said that satellite terminal is TEMPORARY. They’re gonna tear it down in a few years once they get the expansion finished elsewhere. Thankfully we won’t be parking there.

Color me skeptical. They said the same thing about the underground train they (finally) built at Washington Dulles. They built a train stop where there isn't a terminal yet, then dug a walking tunnel next to it to walk back to where the current terminal actually is. "Don't worry," they said. It was just temporary until they built the new mid-field terminal above the train station.

That was more than 13 years ago.

I’ve also heard it’s temporary from station personnel, until the further expansion is complete.

Comair ran busses in CVG for years and I don’t remember ever seeing a conflict with taxiing aircraft. Guess we’ll have to see how Nashville handles it. But yes, they desperately need ramp control.

ORD enters the chat. Between shuttling people for years to international terminal via ramp and employees from their parking lot, it seems there are always 30 buses running around everywhere on the ramp.

DFW had the remote “double wide” for Eagle out of the A terminal.

I still have flashbacks to the USAir commuter trailer park in PHL back in the day. Every time I had to go into the trailer, I wondered if that'd be the day I got shanked.
