Default OE trip pull notice

How soon will CKAM have OE assigned for July? Just wondering how long I should wait to clear my board. I don’t mind flying with them, but would prefer to either have more time off or the same footprint with higher credit.

Keep it up until 3-4 days out. It can happen earlier than that, but generally it's scheduled week of.

I’ve had a few pulls (and some reinstated) over the last few months. It has varied anywhere from a couple of days to a week before the trip. I haven’t noticed a particular pattern.

had a whole month scheduled with a ckam.
3 out of 5 trips were reassigned to other capt’s relatively early in the month. Open time etc
the other two were pulled for training new f/o’s so I sat home for 2 trips.

Definitely hang onto it until the week of. No rhyme or reason in my experience but most pulls have been more than one week out. Inside that doesn’t happen often for me.

Nothing will pull before the 17th. Once their sim training is set they’ll start to code for OE. Trips pull 3 days to 2 weeks out. No logic. And no reassurance a pulled trip won’t reinstate.

Another thing to fix in our scheduling. Once the trip is pulled, it's pulled.... no reinstating it. Put it into open time if the CKAM doesn't want/ cant do OE after it's pulled. Yet another way this place treats lineholders like reserves.

Then you don’t get paid for the pull…and they’ll put a LN bar where the trip was so you couldn’t work those days if you wanted to. Total BS.

You get what you negotiate for.

Another red line for me: new hires consolidating on hard lines. You want to make sure they don’t have to go to the sim? Ok. FUPM. Pull my trip with pay and give it to them.

Or put them on the top of the RCO until they’re consolidated.
