From Delta Airlines Pilot Recruiting.

Today, Delta Air Lines reported our financial results for Q2 and provided our outlook for Q3.

We delivered the highest quarterly revenue and profitability in Delta's history and expect another revenue record in Q3.

Our CEO, Ed Bastian, shared this morning, "With this performance, we generated record revenue and profitability in the June quarter. Our people are the best professionals in the industry, and I’m proud to recognize their achievements with $667 million in the first half toward next year’s profit-sharing payment," said Ed Bastian, Delta's Chief Executive Officer.

To read the full financial results for Q2, please reference the article below:

Must be nice to have a good CEO. Our profit sharing will probably be squandered again in Q4….

Q4?! Why the optimism? I’m thinking it might even be squandered before that.

Bob Jordan has taken SWA to the next level: Strikes, Furloughs, Bankruptcy, Reorganization, Acquisition, Liquidation. Read up on the history of the airlines since 1939 and read the Future of SWA. Southwest will not be around another 20 years.
