I think the TA sold itself. Polling data indicated what it indicated and SWAPA played it to the max. Notice that neither Casey nor any BOD member or any NC member to my knowledge urged people to vote yes or even told the membership how they were voting. They presented the TA and left the decision to us.

The next time, I don't think it'll really matter. The last one passed 86%... this one almost 93%... I don't think that really matters. Different issues, different priorities and a long time in between.

To hypothesize what the negotiating environment will be in 1,3,5,10 years is hubris at its best. It could be better, the same, or much worse, negating any potential positive or negative you might attach to having a more split vote.

Congrats to all, even the no voters because luckily for them, they can still tell us how bad this thing sucks and how smart they are all while reaping the benefits.

.....and we'll do what we need to do to counter. You been in this business long enough to know how its played.
Do you really think SWAPA is going to wait until expiration date to think about it while the kompany looks ahead?

Except I made no assertions to what the negotiating environment will be. If you knew me better you'd know you don't have to create a strawman to credibly accuse me of hubris!

I'm glad I refrained from voting.

Exactly. And as pointed out during the roadshow, after the early opener, we do not have to wait until the next amendable date to go into mediation. If they play games again, we'll hopefully have learned our lesson and do it earlier next round.
