Not us, the ones that can’t amass millions in personal wealth while making $174k/year.

as a guy who gave up his 20’s and 30’s for patriotic idealism, I’m pretty sad to see this country rip itself apart for people ( on both sides of the aisle) who really do not care about anything outside of the beltway. It’s not a sport. We are All Americans. When someone says ‘Thanks for your service’ I try to say ‘Thanks for being worth it’ back to them because it was my choice and I really mean it. I was so proud of my fellow countrymen as a young man. I grew and got a lot out of it. This useless anger disappoints me.

sorry, I’ll get off my soapbox.

Whoa, whoa, whoa! I come to these forums for misguided opinions, hearsay and half-baked theories. Take your well-crafted posts and common sense elsewhere.

The political garbage on this discussion board is ridiculous. Some guys just can't help themselves and people who don't want to put up with it end up leaving, resulting in a circle jerk echo chamber. I get that you like your candidate of choice, but as someone who recently left the FO ranks, please keep that to yourself, even if you reeeeaaaaalllly feel like you have to say something. I don't want to hear anything about anyone's favorite president ever no matter who they are. There are so many better things to talk about. It is endemic at SWA.

I disagree. It rarely gets discussed in my experience. I do however have a tendency to steer the conversation towards The Greatest Sports Car of All Time. So maybe it’s just me…

All I did was respond to a juvenile jab. And I guess it hit close to home with someone else. And then he projected or something. <shrug>

I almost never talk politics or any other controversial subject in the cockpit, but when someone throws a grenade on here, I'll happily push a button or three.

I think most will agree we had 2 bad choices. Do I need to go over with you the four principles of risk management?

You will be expected to know it for the 2025 AQP .

I don't really feel passionate about the political garbage one way or another, but I know Zap personally and he is a great dude. He hasn't been on here over the last four years gloating because there was a democrat in office.
I think a lot of the political comments that have been made on this forum and others are out of line. Being a Texas based pilot at this airline means you are going to endure a lot of very right leaning politically motivated conversations, some bordering on the absurd. If you don't participate in that, then great. Why do it here?
I have been on my current trip for 3.5 days and I have no idea what the political inclinations of the other pilot are nor do I care.

Oh I get it. I don't care who anyone voted for or why they did it. I am not sure why a topic where two rational people used to be able to have a respectful conversation has become what it has, but here we are.

And yeah, I just started going over those questions. The systems questions were pretty easy. The RRM section is like getting kicked in the junk.
