Absolutely no scope relief. Spread the word and educate the younger pilots. Don’t save the company from themselves. Make them work and build a real airline.

SWAPA has stated multiple times that the reopener is for Southwest pilots flying 737s. I personally think that the company has more plans than that, but the current reopener ain't that.

Hard won scope isn't for sale.

thats the point of contacting your reps. Without serious input the BOD will create the side letter and put it to membership for a vote with a yes from the BOD. 50% will vote yes because they don't engage and just do what the BOD says.
What goes in the side letter is being written now. Now is the time to change it, not after the BOD approves it and sends it to vote.
im afraid since there has been lots of yelling over these current issues, and almost zero response from the union, they were waiting for this side letter to fix them and then say " hey we gave you what you were complaining about".

Exactly it’s funny contacting my reps. I have by the way. Only to be ignored or ridiculed. Swapull is nothing more than group think SWA extension. SWApULL will do what SWA wants it to.

Only ever voted yes once. That was to buy scope protection at the expense of an otherwise garbage contract. Looking back, we should have rejected the contract but still demanded the scope language in the follow on TA. Either way, I'm never voting to relax scope. For any reason. Ever. FUPM anyway.

during the TA sales job I contacted my reps. BOD etc. Needless to say I was underwhelmed. Even got into quite the argument with out SRC Chairman and was told I didn't understand.
It still doesnt stop me from contacting those who worl for me and telling them my opinion. At least it's a data point and if enough of us have the same opinion then thats the will of the union regardless of how dumb we are.
