Default Far international side letter

A side letter will be coming to the pilot group to vote on shortly addressing scope relief for far international.

I believe the company has been creating problems for this exact reason.
Line construction, displacements, JS DH language in order for us to have to negotiate.
Regardless of your position now is the time to contact your reps about your opinion.
I for one will not vote for scope relief. Period.
We've been waiting forever for this type of flying and im not about to give it away. Not for DH/JS relief, lines, or even displacements which affect me personally.
to me those are short term problems that will work there way out with a new type etc.

That’s what I was saying… the last couple paragraphs of the union letter implied something coming very soon.

Nah. It's time to 'pay them back' for the -800 side letter. Company wants it FAR more than we do.

Smart man (woman?), (non-binary?). A lot of our problems would work themselves out with a new fleet type, whether that be large or small.

Company would try and get us all worked up and then look for a short term relief by getting us to agree to some far international deal to help their cause…smart on them but we can’t fall for that. I’m all for 787s but not at the expense of our quality of life…hopefully we can find a good solution

Thank you for posting this. I’m a firm and absolute no and will start spreading the word to my fellow pilots on the FO side. The importance you’re highlighting is real.
