FO a few trips ago gave me crap about logging the times into my phone. Told him, “been doing it for 27 years…why stop now?”

If someone asks if we flew together before…I can tell them when and where. If someone asks how may hours in the 737, etc…takes a few seconds. Logbook review was the easiest part of the interview here…it’s habit and doesn’t take but 20 seconds every flight.

Been logging flight time that long. Logbook Pro came out when I was a CFI so I logged paper and started electronic as a backup. Once I went to all Apple products I transferred everything to LogTen.

Flown with a lot of people that quit logging once they got hired….nothing wrong with that…company keeps records. I figure I’ve been doing it this long….

I print out the SWAPA logbook at the end of the year and have it in a binder and keep the digital copy as well.
