Ummm..they will go senior because of the increased pay and being on the SWA contract sooner. Also, SWA will not put new hires on the 717, so there will not be any quality of life improvements from new hires being put below 717 pilots, so, I would say senior. I don't understand your "experiment". Losing all captain seats, 30% seniority, and being on a lower pay scale hardly seems "fair and equitable".

Right, you just keep thinking that. It couldn't be further from the truth.

BINGO! It should be interesting how many DFR suits SWAPA will get handed in the future for failing to truly represent ex-AAI pilots. Grab an ex-Morris guy if you can and start asking some questions. Apparently a few of them have some pretty strong words about being in the "aquired not hired" category and it forever sticking with them during their SWA career.

How exactly do you start a DFR suit against a union that does not yet represent you? AAI guys are not represented by SWAPA until they make the jump to SWA. If you seriously believe that SWAPA will attempt to bargain different deals for ex-AAI guys once they make the switch, you are seriously deluded. Plese understand that as soon as you decide to make the switch from AirTran to SWA, SWAPA will indeed represent your interests to the best of their abilities.

There is a difference between being angry and remaining civil. I am not happy with the deal at all, but it is what it is. If it passes the vote, then I will put it behind me and be the very best SWA pilot I can be. If it goes to arbitration, then I will await the outcome and then be the very best SWA pilot I can be.
I won't let something completely out of my control (other than my 1 measly vote) affect my attitude or my work ethic.

Well, all I can tell you is I have flown with quite a few of them, though not all, but I have yet to hear any of them spout the vitriol that you are spewing.
