If anyone has received the call for an interview, has their pilotcredentials stuff changed at all? Does the message still say, check for accuracy, or does it say anything else? I wouldn't expect stuff to go out on a Sunday, but keep us posted.

Default Pilot contract

Anyone have an update to SWA pilot contract "renewal"? Not a lot of info online. Only rumor I heard is current management has no problem delaying as long as possible.

He has been my experience since I started putting in my app with SWA back in 2011 that they won't send the TBNT to qualified applicants until they have all the guys and gals they want to hire. My theory on this is that they want to make sure they get who they want. For example they probably will interview 400 guys and gals to fill the 250 slots for this year, but if they don't get what they want out of that 400 they will interview another 50 or so till the fill the slots. So basically they want to keep all qualified applicants in until they have found who they want for their pilots.

I have had the same experience, I have had the mins for the past few windows but was not selected, I received a TBNT when they had no more classes to fill. Then I anxiously awaited the next window (it was one day later, once) and repeat. My understanding is, you are still in the game until that TBNT, no matter how many invites have been sent.

You will get another tab to fill out. First you select an interview time and then you have paperwork to fill out. Lots of it.

We are in mediation. Now you know as much as I do.

I think all we know so far re: hiring is that they have sent out the first batch of invites for the week of May 7th. Somebody correct me if I am wrong. If they interview around 12 per day that's only around 60 invites so far. To hire the 250 I would bet they will interview at least 500... probably more. I don't know how many invites they send out at once but I'm betting there are a lot more to come.

I heard of at least one invite that went out today. The interview date range possibilities given were between 7-28 May. It could be an isolated invite and not a big blast like they sent out last week. But the date range alone indicates that quite a few more invites are out there (more than a week's worth)...I think. By my squishy math: 18 interview days X 12 interviewees per day = 216 possible invites. Even if that is true (and I am not suggesting it is), that leaves quite a few more invites to go (184 if they invite 400).

Doesn't 400 seems a little low? I mean 500 invites means one out of every two candidates will be hired. I'd think 1/3 would be a little more realistic number.
