Crucified…

Are you an overseas pilot/expat guy? Have always wondered if the US airlines shun the expats…

There are 137 people on the interview list for May according to the company site. If we are hiring 250-300 this round there are a lot more invites yet to go out. Best of luck to everyone applying!

the list of May interviewees was published April 20th and included a note that said that the June list would be published soon.

How are you? I actually flew 16 hours to make it to the job fair, and had a great experience. At the end of the day, it was a quick talk, hand them your resume, and hope for the best. They said they expected to hire 290 this year, subject to change of course. Met some great people there, and FAPA did a wonderful job. Still waiting for an email.

It'll be interesting to see how much preference they give to the type. Obviously it will be a large feather in the cap, and I'm sure that the guys with the invites have the type in addition to stellar quals. I'm curious to see what the type does for less qualified folks when up against more qualified folks who don't have one.
In other words the point weight for the type compared to TPIC, LCA, MIL, TT, etc...

Sorry, I should have addressed that. The speaker at the conference said if you had the type this time around, it would carry more points in your favor. How many points, or how much in your favor, not sure. Certainly looking for instructors as always, civ or military. I wish I knew exactly how this point system worked. Fingers crossed. Only 130 called, they have only started, so hang in there.

Quick question.

What's the average time from interview to CJO? Not counting chickens before they are hatched; just curious.

Thanks.
