This is an important point for future interviewees. Exchange email and phone numbers with all candidates (am and pm). It really helps to stay in the loop on whats going on regarding references being called, class dates, drug test and so on... You will meet everybody during your interview day for the tour of the facilities around noon. It only takes a couple minutes to exchange contact info but it makes a big difference while waiting impatiently for any news. We had a very beneficial email exchange until everybody was in class or unfortunately got some bad news. Good Luck!!

Hardly any time, we were busy and frankly, I was too in the moment. Good for those who got hired but the exchanging emails or numbers can be done if hired, otherwise, I don't care.

I exchanged emails and when the calls started going out i was in a place where there was no cell phone service but I had wifi so I saw the emails that people were getting called. I was able to get to a place where I had reception and was called an hr later.
Don't want to miss that call!

So, if references or backgrounds haven't been checked, is there still a chance at the DB, or they just look at your stack as part of the process for the thank you letter? Or could they send CJO, without background checks? Thanks 🙏

I had a buddy interview a handful of months ago, I was one of his references that was called by SWA. I was for sure that meant he was hired, a few days later he got the TBNT email. He thinks the one thing that may have caused that was the lack of any internals. Who knows......Im still waiting for the come interview call

Completely agree but 15 min later got called for a class date and picked the next available. Not sure if or how many classes I would have slid down if I didn't get the message for a couple of days case I was out of cell phone range?
Either way glad I made the cut been way to long

How many classes is SWA running per month now? Are they still on track to hire 615 this year? Any word about hiring into next year? Thanks for the info.
