Default Interview rejection

I interviewed this week and was told that the review board would be held mid Sept. I received a rejection email today, just 3 days after my interview. Is this quick response typical for those that didn't pass the interview or is there still a chance that I'll be in the review board. I contacted someone at SWA today and they said the pilot hiring team is gone today but Rocky said all applicant info would go to the review board.

Red Baron,
I received the same thing. I spoke with a few people that said it seemed like a more generic application generated email. I was told to sit tight and not get too stressed over it and wait on the board notification. There's nothing official about that but I'll take it and keep hoping.
Makes me feel even luckier to have gotten the invite since if my app was reviewed today, I wouldn't have apparently.

It's released...$67.32 per trip, converts to $77 per hour. Your rumor was pretty close!

Nice. That's in line with the other majors. Needed to be done.

I'm saying the rejection letter seems like someone did an app review today and said thanks but keep applying, but whoever reviewed it 2 months ago put me in the call for an interview pile. I still don't understand the mystery of how they score apps, but thankful someone scored mine high enough before that I got to interview, because the most recent scoring apparently didn't do that?

The email that I received was the same email that others have received when they were not offered the job after the interview. However, everyone that I've talked to says that the email is WAY to early in the process. The hiring committee has not convened and will not meet again until Sept. 14th. I was told by someone in the people department that Rocky said that all applicant info would be going to the review board, but they would check to see if my rejection was real or not. 3 days is much quicker than the two weeks we were told at the interview...

Thanks for the update. Feel free to PM me if you hear anything else. I'm gonna keep waiting and hopefully there was some strange squirrel in the system that sent these to us.

I think without long call that's the best one could hope to have regarding commute vs living in base. Thoughts with the type of reserve you have experienced ?
I've done one month reserve in LAS and two in BWI. only went over guarantee in July in BWI but I went waaay over. I've never been able to drop reserve, because no one wants it in the summer they all bid open time. I never once was able to get open time, a way senior guy even bid straight to take it from me last min. However, I commute and my time at home is real important now so I've only bid a handful of open time trips that have to be worth it for me to give up a day off. Especially when I only get three at a time.
I'm based in BWI now. I think it uses its reserves pretty well and was shocked I didn't go over in August as I was at 82 tfp with a four day of reserve left. However, scheduling awarded trips to premium instead of using reserves. A lot of us sat that last week in August.
I think with the new rules that'll pretty much be weeded out and reserve will be sought after. I would've been over 110tfp every month on reserve with the new rule.
So basically you have to be willing to work on days off to guarantee you'll break guarantee since this days are over and above reserve guarantee.
SW has always been a great place if you want to work more and a pretty good place if you don't. I'm not complaining

IF the AIP becomes a TA and IF the TA passes, here are the new payrates. They're in TFP so if you are comparing them to other airlines multiply by around 1.149 to get the hourly equivalent.
