Just read that although the reserve pay and rules will change for the TA but it will be at least 6 months for it to happen due to IT problems.
That's ridiculous.
The more I read the more I see the wording is not like the bullet points.

The problem with being as transparent as SWAPA has been in the last 10 months is that sometimes you put out information that is incorrect or incomplete. We have seen it multiple times with the bullet points.

I have a degree in programming. A good coder or group of coders could knock out, test, and have ready for prime time all the changes required to make the new reserve system work in a week or two at the most. It is a lame excuse by the company to milk more money and blood out of our reserves. They could pay a contractor in India to do it in a couple of days time if they chose to.
Oh yeah, and SWA IT is horrible. It has cost this company tens of millions of dollars this year already if not hundreds of millions.

Make the stakes a USA Today paper, and you're on.

& that torques me off to no end. So RSV pilots are supposed to suffer financially because of the company's usual IT problems? GMAFB.

As a matter of compromise and reasonableness SWAPA & the company need to agree to a "true up" next April on what is due for RSVs.

They said there will be no true ups for reserve pay. Why not include it in their audits? They do those every month and they are more complicated than 6tfp per day. Also it says 2nd quarter, that could easily mean end of 2nd quarter not beginning.

This combined with a cap on the retro so it's not true full retro, not great interline language and a list of other weak language items and it might be a lot closer than I previously thought. However, all the captains I've flown with recently have already spent their bonus check.
