I'd rather have WN buy us than stay solo. I'd be really upset about making about $40 more an hour as an FO with no responsibility than I do now as a captain. Never mind the profit sharing and retirement. Yeah, that would be awful.

It's not about having a chip on my shoulder. SWA's merger history with AirTran and their attempt to purchase Frontier years ago should
make anyone second guess how great that would be. Sorry if I'm not feeling the luv.

No chip on my shoulder but I'd rather make more as a CA here than be an FO at SWA, LOL.
Point is, I think we have a better chance at making more money here as CA (with new contract) than we would if we got bought and subsequently bent over by SWA.

ULCC's are major competition for SWA and they know it.
Southwest: Competition from 'ultra low-cost carriers' is soaring

Im glad it looks like we are keeping LBE with PIT.
Besides the fact i'm sure the LBE Airport Administration probably gives Spirit a $1 landing fee, the passengers out of there are some of the nicest Ive seen in our system. They seem to overall really love the fact Spirit is in LBE, not having to make the drive to PIT. I think people in Canton feel the same way.
