Yes, and BoFo makes 1 million more than Gary Kelly, while SWA pilots make up to $100 more an hour than some longevities of ours!!

So.....why do we need to dump on our passengers too?

Agreed, they don't deserve it anymore than we do.

Don't forget profit sharing.

Unfortunately passengers will be collateral damage. Unfortunate but this is the course management has determined they wanted.

Cancelations for no crew, deplaning because the pilots timed out and refuse to extend, flights going out late because the transportation didnt show at the hotel and the pilots wont get their own cab, maintenance delays and cancelations when items are found on the preflight walkaround, hot brakes on the taxi out and having to wait 30 minutes to take off....etc.

Passengers get caught up and upset with all of this. Angry passengers speak with their wallets and management only cares about their wallet.

The good news is every plane should be nice and cool this summer for all that sweet cold APU air blowing 45 minutes before boarding.

No doubt, you guys are underpaid!

On the positive side, Spirit has never had to beat up a guy, dragging him out of a "pre-reclined for your comfort seat!" Perhaps the opposite has occurred and we haven't heard about it?

In ops and everything forward of the flight deck door, I have nothing but respect for the Spirit team. In the main cabin, well ... you get what you pay for.

As an outsider who's had quite a few colleagues cycle through Spirit, I have never expected you all to get compensation to the level that would be on par with industry standard. But you deserve way more. Keep up the good fight!

Speaking of Southwest...... Why aren't they on the pay-comparison chart?
