I believe, we will all do our best in not delivering hot brakes during swaps.
However you will not hear any complaints from me, if I walk into a hot brakes AC. ;) Now if the APU is off, and it's hot, that's a different story. This summer let's take good care of our valued customers and each other, by delivering nicely cooled AC. Personally, my optimal temp is 68-70F. Thanks in advance. :) |

No doubt, you guys are underpaid!
On the positive side, Spirit has never had to beat up a guy, dragging him out of a "pre-reclined for your comfort seat!" Perhaps the opposite has occurred and we haven't heard about it? In ops and everything forward of the flight deck door, I have nothing but respect for the Spirit team. In the main cabin, well ... you get what you pay for. As an outsider who's had quite a few colleagues cycle through Spirit, I have never expected you all to get compensation to the level that would be on par with industry standard. But you deserve way more. Keep up the good fight! |
There's a DTW CA on reserve today with 140 hours of credit! High five my union brother!

Don't worry brother, you can thank the rest of us that had the fortitude to stand together. Enjoy your gravy. Wish I could fly with you on a Lima so I could educate you for 6 hours. |

It is sad really that pilots are getting web board shamed for high credit hours. You don't know thier situation and you don't have a right to know. It is sad that you think not picking up JAs will make the company come begging for a deal. (It won't). The theory make sense but in practicality doesn't work. All we are doing is raising blood pressures and little Suzy doesn't get to go to disney world. Will a judge look upon us not picking up anything favorably? Probably will hinder the process.
