Default Our NewHire Failure rate hovering above 5%

Nice job management.

Wasting valuable resources hiring those who have no business flying an Airbus.

When I was hired it was less than 1% now it's almost 10x that.

Not only are we paid below IA but we have to babysit some F/Os who barely got by and are confused when the thrust goes to Idle and they try to maintain level Flight in an Open Descent.

God help us all when one of these guys bends and airplane. I'm sure Bumbling Bob forgot to mention this to Wall st on the call.

Curious to where you are getting these numbers? Now are you talking about washing out, or are they just failing a ride and then passing it on the second try?

So, are you saying that our training department is releasing guys to the line that aren't prepared or qualified?
Just curious.

He resigned. The new hire DTW chief pilot is going to be director of training.

I'm sure it was just a coincidence that he was hired as DTW CP and is now taking over as DT. Does he even live in DTW? I'm sure the old DT was given the "Thanks for Playing" speech. I'm excited to learn the "new" way of flying the Bus. Yeah!!! New Profiles a Callouts!!!

If the new guy wants to implement "real training" like AQP, instead of the box checking training that we currently have, I will welcome the new guy, even if he's been here for 3 months. Wait.... We work for cheapo wings.....
