Guys, this is not that difficult. Status quo.... if you have things going on at home you don't have to come in and save the day and sacrifice your family time to cover open flying. If they call you and offer a trip that works for you, then take it and enjoy the extra money. Basically don't do (or not do) anything that is motivated by the emotion caused by negotiations. If in the end all flights get covered then great. If not then the company needs to figure out how to properly staff the airline properly.

Just so we can "fight" in mediation for years. The company can give us a contract WHENEVER they want. Money is the driving factor. It's cheaper to lose money cancelling flights and ****ing off pax than giving us a contract. Until it costs MORE, we'll never see a contract. It'll be cancellation costs. Attrition. And attracting pilots. We ARE short staffed for the aggressive growth model they want. When all these factors become too costly. That's when we'll see a contract. Outside of mediation

Just something to think about. Unless I'm wrong here
And for the love of god stop posting stuff like this. It doesn't matter if you are a spirit pilot, or another pilot, or a 14 year old kid in your grandmother's basement. The company will use it as "evidence" of an illegal work action. Quit giving them ammo.

So you're interested in contract 2030.

Management is trying to get us to fight against each other. Don't fall for it.

This response plays into management's hands. I suggest you edit out your response.

Discussing this kind of action will only hurt us further.

Guys,
If you read the union email, its not a given that NMB will stop negotiations. Please read carefully and stay united.

Have you emailed your rep? I emailed Stuart and liked his response. I will not respond to PMs (so you can save yourself the time and bother), since I do not know where they are coming from.
Please dont go about posting this stuff in public where management has eyes. This board may as well be named Spirit Airlines Management Security Agency Forums.

Stay United.

Please edit out dfwflyboy's post in your quoted reply, thanks

NMB has canceled negotiation talks in June. Read the union email. And listen to Bendos podcast. There will be NO more negotiating until the op is back to normal. That means until after summer. Cmon. Guys. Read before you post. Educate yourselves. Work if you want don't if you don't. Get back to status quo is all union is saying

This is incorrect. They have not canceled June negotiations or any future dates. They have the option to cancel them if the status quo isn't returned to. Please do not post things as facts if you do not know for sure.

I'll rephrase.
"The NMB will NOT meet with us until the op is normal" that's word for word from the podcast.
I read that as currently canceled with the option to resume at a later date... but hey. I'm just a pilot. I take things at face value
