Helping with the phones does a lot to help in the eyes of the judge with a lawsuit. They aren't picking up flying I guess. Not terrible imo but I'm with b6 so no dog except wanting you guys to get the contract you deserve.

It's a crap sandwich guys we all know. But if you contact your reps or had been able to attend the recent pub events and listened to the lawyers speak you'd have a better handle on what's going on and would be standing behind our leadership.

Management is so far behind the right ball for this summer it's not going to matter and they will have no one else to blame. This was their last card to play against us. It's a shame that negotiations were tabled for next week but we are back at it next month and they will have no excuses and I'm hoping that their operational shortcomings and failed recruitment and pilot retainment is going to simply force their hand into an industry standard agreement.

I'm also not real happy with our leadership cowering to company lawyers. I've never been one to back down and many times it has cost me more monetarily to do what was right with getting only a little in return just to satisfy my own fight or flight syndrome.
I think we have to look at the big picture and realize that in the eye of the NMB, this looks like we are doing the right thing despite who's fault it is.
You know in the end the company always looks like the money grubbing *****s they always do. It was like that last time and they are showing their true colors again.

If my union leadership was helping the company man phones, I'd be the first to start a recall petition ESPECIALLY given the fact that NK treats you guys the way they do. YHGTBFSM.

That's not what the union is doing over in Miramar. 2015 won't be repeated.

They aren't manning phones as far as I know. More like giving free training because spirit didn't want to pay to train that department

I get your disappointment and totally understand your desire to die on the hill you chose, but for good or bad we are a group and as such will rightfully disagree on what should be the best course of action. But having been here since 01 we have always fought the good and smart fight we may not always agree. But Federal court is not a venu that is favorable to our plight and is ruled by judicial precedent. I encourage you to call a rep seek the facts, if you have already then be well brother!

P.S.

And to all the O'Melveny & Meyers trolls on here posting "Pack Sand!"

Smooch!

I reread my post and you may have misunderstood my on the fly, poorly written iPhone post. I was actually saying that as much as I hate the course of action the MEC has taken, in the long run, it is correct. My initial reaction was to want to fight the "Fake News" the company put out and take this to court, but in the end, its only the lawyers that win. We are better off taking the course of action the MEC has chosen and get things back on track and look favorable to the NMB because we all know that the company will show their true colors again.
I do believe what another poster said. The company is getting desperate. Filing a lawsuit was an act of desperation and weakness. I like many others have updated my resume. Too many opportunities to ignore right now.
Thanks for the kind words.

According to the investor's page at spirit.com, at the BANK OF AMERICA MERRILL LYNCH 2017 TRANSPORTATION CONFERENCE....May 18th

Weren't negotions canceled this week because management was too busy restoring the operation?

Not sure how I would feel about my union dues paying to support the company operation while being treated like **** during negotiations either. Hopefully it pays off in the long run, but...
