Most everyone I speak to likes their pants, myself included. Maybe you’re shaped weird? Lol

Hahaha... it’s quite possible. I did however reach out to ACA customer service when I returned the pants and they said that they had been receiving complaints on the fit and that they were working on it. Just wondering if they ever got around to working on it. If I remember correctly they were pretty baggy and the rise was comically long.

Sure wearing pants that completely deviate from the norm is silly but can we avoid ridicule of those who go for the hpi pants or any other equivalent? If "shiny polyester" is what Spirit designate us from the supplier, then 'shiny polyester' is the uniform!

Training pay is a struggle enough for a lot of us as it is. If you buy from the vendor, then you're in compliance. Ill shine my polyester right into your non training pay eyes any day of the week.

The vendor pants are a wool poly blend not shiny 100% poly. The rise is ridiculous and the zipper will come halfway down your thigh unless you are pulling them over a big gut like Santa clause

cool story bro

All that was said about the uniform pants are that they fit very bad.

I forgot how none of us were ever on training pay. Tell me more about that....

Dont get me wrong, ACA has been going down hill for years, sadly they are still one of the smartest kids on the short bus.

This, I have been very disappointed in ACA recently. It would be nice if someone would provide QUALITY uniform items.

Hmm. I’d say any pants are ok pants as long as they’re the right color and fit properly. I’m here to fly planes and go home, not to be the fashion police :D I do occasionally laugh to myself, though, at how poorly some people’s uniforms fit. Usually older guys that don’t mind their epaulets drooping towards their elbows or their pants looking like industrial trash bags

I have ACA shirts, love the collar, hate the baggy look. I have an athletic frame and they still have the cut of a shopping mall security guard. Had them altered and still like the padded collars. The comically large buttons are gone, but the ones that replaced them seem to not hold up well to dry cleaning.

The ACA pants are great, breathe well in the hot FLL months, but warm enough in the winter. No shiny sheen and haven’t had one issue with the 5 pairs currently in rotation. The “rubber” band inside the waist line helps keep shirts tucked in.

The overwhelming majority of NK pilots I’ve come across look sharp and professional, we just have a disproportionately large number of slobs and cheapskates as a percentage. For you new hires, don’t take that as “no one cares what I wear here so I’ll wear whatever I want”.

Get yourself a couple pairs of quality stuff so you too can roll your eyes at the guy in dockers and black new balance lace ups who is making $250k a year and thinks paying more than twenty bucks for pants is ridiculous.

Those guys making $250k+ and not wanting to spend more than $20 on pants are the same ones who try to convince everyone to switch their cell service to some off-brand company that rents bandwidth on the other guys towers. Yes your data gets throttled after using 250MB and the calls are dropped constantly but if you wait until you’re on hotel WiFi you don’t really notice it. Plus you save $20/month!!!!!
