Here comes fhe “effective rate” crowd. Lol.

That is a terrible argument for too many reasons to list

Wrong. Try again Sour.

So pilots at DAL and UAL don’t have any soft time with their PBS?? Our increased rigs won’t produce any more soft time?

Oh wait, you mean the 10% that scores 120 credit from conflict every month. Yeah, that’s over. Sorry you want everyone else to give up substantial raises so you can keep your conflict.

I litterally just did a 13:30 three day that united gets paid 15:00 and Delta gets paid 15:45 for. Under the TA this trip will pay 10:00

Well I just did a 4 day that paid 18 that the new contract will pay 23.

FAir enough. However, had we kept the 22hr overnight credit or gone to calendar day averaging instead of duty period my trip would’ve paid 15:00

And do you think those will carry over?

Oh you and your crafty little memes.

Find the pairing yourself, you have enough time on your hands.

Here is a hint. 23 hours pay is based on 3.5 duty rig. So sniff out that 80 hour trip, and you’ll have found it.

Bendoraitis’s offer maintained 22 hr. I’d be curious to see the differences other than LTD, Scope, and the magical 12 year DOS+4 $$$.

I do. I know it’s popular for some to believe that PBS will create 10 hours 4 days, but the implementation of better rigs, min duty period and joint pairing construction with the union (we have none now), will all factor into better paying trips.

Just the 3.5 rig forces them to either pay is more of keep us less on the road. Matter of basic math. These 4 day trips with 0600 start and 11pm finishes will cost them more, a lot more than now. So if they want it, they have to pay. If they dont, they need to make one end of a 4 day shorter. Which is QOL,
As everyone on here is always screaming a about.

That would be a good question for the NC. I’m curious to what was horse traded for the 24 hour Hotel.

When doing the math, trips with a 22-23:59 hotel stay are probably going to trigger the 3.5 duty rig anyways, which would pay more than the additional duty period.

In the end, a layover that long, 22 or 24, will cause a large TAFB number and the 3.5 rig will be paying us for it for a majority of the pairings.
