Default Training pay, days off, DFW?

Can any relatively new FO hires answer a few questions for me:

1) Anyone know what you're paid during INDOC/training under the new contract?

2) Minimum and average days off once you hold a line after reserve? Average time on reserve right now?

3) How soon can someone expect to get DFW as a base?

Thanks in advance!

$1000 per month plus $750 per diem

I had 16 off 1st month off reserve. 13 off the next. It’s all over the place

Could be as early as 2 months. I’d say 3 for sure, but 5 to 6 max to get DFW

Did I read that correctly? $1700 a month while in training?

Does your negotiating team hate new hires?

Newhire pay is a recruiting tool that the company needs to pony up. The MEC doesn't represent people before they're hired, and to negotiate pay for those not on property would be doing a disservice to the pilots they actually represent.

What are the junior bases?
When do you find out what base you are assigned?

Thanks for the info!

What about commuting? Does Spirit give comutters a certain amount of hotels or anything like that per month? Long call reserve?

I completely disagree with this. This was our opportunity not to bring up the ladder behind us. The company will never do the right thing and if we were recruiting guys on that pay before the contract we will now too. This is not the dues paying level of the industry.

The initial training pay and no insurance for 90 days are a tough pill to swallow.

We had a moral obligation to fix that knowing the greedy corporation that is Spirit will never do it on their own. Sadly we didn’t.
