What happened in May was a genius way for management to halt any potential for anything...100% crew plannings fault, and Bendo either seeing a window or planned out in advance it was management genius.
Management mistakes blamed on the pilot group and then granted a TRO on the pilot group...genius.
How ALPA was so short sighted in allowing them to change the transition and then publish it within the 48 hour window for pickups and not grant relief on the 48 hours. I encouraged my reps to send predictions to the mediator, in that they will sue is once the cancellations get to be too much and that this was their mistake...and they are looking to pass blame on to us in the form of illegal job action.
Columbia doesn’t have RLA so I can’t say how job disputes work down that way, but I can site this article:
