Zero relationship. Just a big fan of new technology and I have watched the program since it’s inception. Perhaps you should do a little research about the CSeries instead of being so dismissive. Again, do yourself a favor and re-read this and think about how Spirit could use something with this low CASM and flexibility:

Good for you. Plenty of jaded, oblivious pilots out there who have done zero research but still have an opinion about everything. Sometimes I forget this is APC, but some people still care and actually enjoy new technology. I guess I am in the absolute minority!

I think most of us are for any new airplanes showing up. The thought of Spirit going through the process of adding a new airplane scares me though. I wouldn’t want to be a part of those first several classes.

Are we so short sighted that we forgot how negiotions went? Delay delay delay, now lets meet 12 out of the first 14 days of the month. Cmon guys open your eyes. Bob did the same thing at Airtran, all of a sudden it was hurry and get a deal done. 6 months later they were all employees of Southwest Airlines.
This was all orchestrated years ago.

With Envoy's HVA (High Value Aviator) program, read street CA and 6 year flow to AA, it makes perfect sense. Unfortunately, I washed out of NK training so I'm not eligible. I'm personal friends with Connie Kalitta and he offered me a job but I decided to regroup for a bit instead and joined Envoy as a Flight Attendant.

Has anyone else seen the Spirit Facebook ad saying:
“Something BIG is coming to Spirit. Follow the journey and see if you can GUESS what’s next for you”
I would post the ad but I guess you can’t put pics that don’t have a URL on APC. If you have Facebook you can see it on Spirits Facebook page.
It looks like it might be related to better passenger experience (ie wifi, new big front seats, better lighting and recorded announcements and the other rumblings we’ve been hearing) as the ad mentions our new fleet and better on time performance and says “much more is to come”. It does not read like a teaser for new destinations in other words.
And guesses, rumors?
