we don’t do “class drops” okie lite. We do monthly vacancy bids. That will be your first opportunity to submit your preferences.

ACY?

What’s the possibility of holding ACY out of training? I’ll be starting GS in July

Hello, what is the most junior FO line holder at FLL?

a moving target.

will also go the wrong way once people get displaced into FLL that were previously in more senior bases.

Jr line holder for June is April 2020 hire, I believe.

How about LAS?

I heard LAS was a year of reserve. Curious how accurate that is.

That’s pretty accurate.

Would FLL be most junior (at this time) for lines then?

I would say yes. And for the foreseeable future. Of course, the displacement may change that or it may make it even more so.

B0bSacamano 06-05-2022 06:26 AM

Speaking of FLL anyone know what the average price of a crash pad down there?

A quick internet and Facebook search indicated $300-500/month.

What's the recent news on DFW in 2022? Still the longest wait?

The plug is a February 2022 hire, but there will be a displacement soon, maybe?, if the company can fix the software, that should trim off the bottom 25 FOs or so.

ATL

Is ATL a thing yet? New hire starting in July hoping for ATL ASAP.

No - and if it becomes a thing it’ll go fairly senior

Who knows? I wish we had a better answer but the company/union have been radio silent on when a possible displacement happens. Either way though, ATL seems to be trending fairly senior.

last what if before they cancelled the reductions saw very few involuntary displacements from Dfw fo. Due mainly to natural monthly attrition

Opening September 1 with 50-60 pilots. They plan to add another 50 in October and repeat in a similar fashion until ultimately staffed.

MCO Current Seniority

What is the current seniority at MCO and FLL?
Can an FO hold in training?
What is the current upgrade time?

What's the likelihood ATL changes the above and to what extent?
I realize no one has a crystal ball, just best info.....thx

Junior, yes, 4 years if you are willing to commute to reserve.
As far as the future, it can not be answered until after one of the mergers becomes official, we have a JCBA, and see the first vacancy bid.

Can the merger/purchase force pilots out of their current base when the JCBA happens?

The JCBA wouldn’t trigger it, a seniority list integration and subsequent future unknown bid would. Too many unknowns to speculate. If there are certain bases that you want to live in, and legacies have hubs there, I’d suggest applying there. If you’re near FLL, could you do MIA?? Apply to AA.

How long would it take to hold a line out of ACY? Easy to get reserve there out of training? TIA

GWY320 07-02-2022 09:44 AM

Junior line holder in ACY for July is a Feb 2020 hire.

Yes, ACY is obtainable after training. Slow movement in the base.

How's dtw look for getting off rsv and holding a line?

Been here since November and I’m still on RSV in DTW. It’s one of the more senior bases to hold a line.

That is pretty much par for the course at all of our non-Florida bases. I know LAS is/was the same, at least over the last couple of years.

adt88 07-05-2022 07:01 AM

What is the typical reserve time at MCO? 6-8 months?

Yeah exactly. Quickest line will be FLL/MCO for new hires!

That is 6-8 months from DOH right? I’m in training now and recently got based there.

Desiflyer 07-22-2022 01:33 AM

What’s the total pilot count for KACY base?
able to hold ACY within few months ?

104. 54 captains and 50 FOs. Adding 3 FOs in the next base bid.
You'll get it right away most likely.
