Nice. Do you feel like doing time to line for captains? Been here long time, but just curious.

Thank you! Am I reading it correctly that it would take ~4.4 months to hold DTW as a domicile?

Let’s say the merger goes through. Do you guys think that MCO and FLL will probably become super senior, and most of the people that are based there with spirit, will eventually get bumped out? I heard for JBU MCO FO is 6+ years .. and captains 13+ years.. I know they might do a seat lock for 2 or more years, but isn’t it concerning for people that live in Florida? Florida is junior for NK pilots, and that’s why a lot of people are still here/coming here.. could we consider FL to become very very senior with JetBlue?

I guess that’ll depend on RH. If he decides to keep or increase the departures out of those airports then maybe there’s a chance MCO/FLL might continue to stay junior. With that said, that is my main concern. All the MCO CAs I fly with are expecting to get bumped to FLL. Which in turn should bump FLL CAs to God knows where (LAS? LAX? JFK?).

Any speculation on seniority list integration is just that, speculation. No one knows how it will shake out. Spirit ALPA will advocate for Spirit pilots and JB ALPA will do the same for JB pilots and then an arbitrator will decide.

That will be the main driver and then any growth or contraction the combined company makes to the size of those bases or any other existing or new bases will play a factor as well.

B6 here…how are they thinking they’ll get bumped? There is not going to be a flush and rebid the whole airline once all the dust is settled. Hell I’ve got over 10yrs at B6 and being MCO based CA isn't even a thought.

There’s a lot of bad info circulating out on the line, I just flew with a mid seniority FO who was talking about putting apps in the other airlines because the last captain he flew with convinced him he would probably get displaced to JFK or BOS because of “all the senior senior JetBlue guys in Florida”
