Pretty bad but I expected that. I didn’t get one of the 89 requests I asked for.

Ouch, are you very junior? I am about 50%, got close to my top requests.

If it was still at 22, you'd probably now have a bunch of overnights at 21:45 instead of 23:45. The 24 hr change doesn't exactly drive efficient schedules though if you're one that comes to work to work. Seems like a step in the wrong direction.

We can kiss 4 days off goodbye in the next negotiating cycle. Everyone will enjoy waiving it so much, nobody will care when the next survey asks us about it.

You are probably right about the way pairings would change. Still on the fence if I want my whole schedule efficient, some long layovers are nice...
