All you have to do is look at how many of the voters were hired between the 2 contracts.

So true. Cue that creepy Goya painting of Saturn eating his son. The look in the eyes...

This is the big one. Have to bid or be able to hold a line to use float vacation. WTF

Just compare our rates to United.

First year here is 61% of United’s first year.
Year 3 FO in 70% of a United year 3 320 fo
Year 5 captain here is 81% of a year 5 320 United CA and the gap gets smaller from there. Percentage wise FO’s here took the biggest hit. Senior people can complain all they want but they got far more percentage wise than our FO’s.

How are the reserve assignment procedures? Can a senior reserve pass on an assignment, or is it a "you'll get what we give you and like it" type operation?

Senior pilots will be called after a junior pilot having the same number of days of reserve left have been used; assuming both pilots are under or at guarantee still.

If a senior pilot wants to fly, they can make themselves as “call me first” and they will be called before the junior, but you can’t just turn it down if you don’t like it at that point.

There are more complexities with it all but basically if 2 guys have 3 days of availability and a trip comes up and fits in both guys RAPs, junior gets the assignment. But like I said, a few complexities to it
