I’d be more worried about TSA revisiting KCM.
Every pilot needs to stop using KCM. And don't use the pre-check lanes either. If they want to treat us like passengers then let's get in line with the passengers and wait our turn. When on-time departures drop to 10% of less you'll see KCM getting fixed real quick like.

Awesome, if they didn’t know their best chance to circumvent TSA/KCM protocols they will now.

Might I suggest you edit your post to not include a road map to committing a crime.

I might be missing something, but is the fact of KCM classified? Or that flight crews have access to the airport via KCM? Or, that falsified credentials are a threat? Or that people have used KCM for illegal activities?

I mean, do you really know what the credentials for all 83 federal law enforcement organizations looks like?

But if it makes you happy...

to quote the relevant USDOJ press release...

From June 2015 to October 2015, Bell worked at the Phoenix-based Mesa Airlines, a regional air carrier. While employed at Mesa, Bell was provided access to free Spirit Airlines tickets as a benefit he was permitted to use only while employed at Mesa. To book a free ticket on Spirit, a Mesa employee entered their personal identifying information and a unique verification code.

After Mesa Airlines terminated Bell’s employment, from February 2016 to November 2017, he conspired with others to sell the stolen and unauthorized information of Mesa employees – including their names, dates of hire, and employee identification numbers – that were needed to book free flights on Spirit Airlines through Spirit’s web portal for themselves and others.

Bell unlawfully used his Mesa employee information to book 34 free flights for himself on Spirit Airline, which allowed him to fly interstate, including into and out of Los Angeles International Airport, despite the fact Mesa Airlines no longer employed him. Bell also admitted he and his co-conspirators manufactured and sold fraudulent Mesa employee identification cards for use by the fraudulent travelers.

You missed it. Someone else posted a how-to instructions to circumvent TSA. The mods deleted it.

I only didn’t quote it above not to make the same error.

So, maybe quote, and delete the objectionable part, so everyone knows what you are talking about?

Leave it to mesa to cut corners and leave someone in the system. Please dont think that not using KCM or pre-check will do anything. If you show up late that is on you and the dance with your CP. Spent many years without KCM and airlines dont care if we have it. KCM is a gift and not a requirement. Security is a huge issue tho and the flight deck is the last line of defense. Check those papers!

Correct. Spirit could not care less about KCM and if it stays or goes. Our FAs were one of the last groups to have KCM and they got it when they finally negotiated for it. If someone thinks the company will say "We need to get our crews through these lines faster," you are misguided. This isnt a battle for the Company to fight, its a battle for the Union to fight.

Use KCM, show there is a need, show they have to staff these stations, report issues, and let the union fight the fight. Thousands of pilots dealing with KCM issues and reporting those issues will help get things resolved. Fighting small little protest groups will only cause issues for yourself.

Well, as if things couldn't get more crazy. It's my understanding that in the near future, a "referee jersey" like the yellow walkaround vest will be added to the cockpit. This will be to assist with disruptive, non-complying pax at the gate. Such as, refusal to wear mask properly. Apparently the Capt will come out with the jersey when requested by the FA and attempt to negotiate the dispute between the pax and FA. I get the principle behind the idea that it's a "fun" way to make light of a tough time and situation and it "helps" to put the intervening crewmember in a "fairer" light in that it isn't 2 employees ganging up on a pax. But come on, really? I think it's a bridge too far personally but apparently we will be getting a read file soon.
