So whats the deal with the application asking for actual IMC at night? I've never heard of this specifically being something people log and all I can do is estimate it.

We do a lot of red-eyes (night) to tropical locations (cumulonimbus clouds) and just want to make sure your skills are up to par when you fly through a cloud at night.

If I am not at the 3000 hours yet (will hit it next month), do I put 3k or the truth? Don't want my app get tossed because it does not meet mins at the time of submission

Either wait or tell the truth

That was the worst part of the application! My friends thought I was joking.

Switch to electronic logs guys. In thirty seconds I can have any breakdown of my flight time I need. I waited too long to switch.

So I realize I put in the night instrument hours wrong is there a way to update that? Do I have to withdraw my application and is it worth it? Would I have to take the Gallup again? I don't want it to mess up my application somehow, I realize it's a bit glitchy.

I didn’t have to fill night IMC out. I’m wondering if I did that over a year ago when I applied then. This time it just had me update some hours but not all.

I would put something >4000 since that’s the preferred minimums and you’ll get there eventually.

I am kidding but the principle is the same.
