I get that, but that’s not the same as someone saying they can give you an accurate number. Yes, I can show how much IMC I have on night flights, but over the years, that’s not an accurate number because so many flights start in the dark and end in the day, or vice versa. Really, it’s a stupid thing to have on our application, but whatever. I’ve almost forgotten what an Airbus looks like, so a night IMC question on an application from a place I already work, doesn’t really concern me that much.

To add... find what percentage your day time vs night time flying is. Then apply that percentage to your total IMC time.

I’m pretty sure 99.99999% of professional pilots these days are using and electronic logbook, but that isn’t a stat anyone’s tracks.
Yes Myflightbook allows you to customize flight conditions and add any category you like. So night imc which was written in my notes on the paper log book is converted to a category that I complete on my electronic.

As someone who knows SF and has been through her interview I’m telling you to just do your best. If they don’t hire you I promise it isn’t going to be because you were off a couple hours on your night time IMC calculation.

Agreed, they’re looking for 3 things IMO. Can this person make it through training? Would I want to fly with this person for 4 days? And does this person actually want to be here?

Mine does too, as does most everyone, but there’s no way that when I enter I’m IMC, I’m entering day IMC and night IMC, because really, who cares. The spirit application is the only one anyone has ever seen and they don’t even care because everyone I know, made that number up.

🤷🏻‍♂️ I’m already here. Nobody cares about night IMC......really. It’s not a thing.

and I’ve known SF since grade school.

Hey guys, so I had applied with Spirit quite a while back and when I logged into the portal site this month to update things it was not showing any evidence of my previous application. I re-applied and received the Gallup email. After following that link, the Gallup site shows that the assessment has already been completed with my access code or whatever (which it has). However, my application status on the dashboard now shows "pending completion of gallup assessment".

If anyone can help, I would appreciate a PM with an email address or someone to contact to clear this up.

I’d like to move us right to TrojanCMH. We had a chance to meet this young man, and boy he’s just a straight shooter with upper management written all over him.
