Nothing official has come out from management. Rumors are from check airmen saying they received an email that starting April hiring will be reduced to 8 per week instead of the original planned 16 per week. That’s all I’ve heard. Nothing about hiring stopping in June. I heard it directly from a check airman and feel like he would have mentioned hiring stopping in June. Who knows though.

Spirit App is nowhere to be found
Hey guys,
Last week I submitted my application to Spirit, took the Gallup Assessment, and the application said it was under review. This morning my application is nowhere to be found and it states that I have not submitted my profile to any jobs. Also the First Officer Job Ad is gone as well. Has Spirit stopped taking in applications?

- Our April schedule has been adjusted, with flights reduced.
- Pilot new hire classes will still be held in April but will be smaller than originally planned. All further classes are cancelled.
- Furloughs are not currently planned, but a reduction may be necessary depending on how the situation develops in the coming days and weeks.
