We have to know weights in KG’s now? The only one I know of is the turn in a taxi limitation.

Before training just study flows, flows, AOM2, flows, limitations and more flows. You do that and you'll be absolutely fine.
what in the world is ETHOS? Did I miss another training by email?

It's a training program that Spirit won't pay for the new hires to use. So the new hires are paying for the program. It should be on your iPad now. The Icon installed a couple of months ago. Sticking it to the new hires is sad.

Guys, the only metric limitation you have to know is 45m. Weights are only in lbs.

77 take off, 66 landing, 62500 zfw etc etc.. metric weights for a metric plane make a lot more sense.

To be fair, flying a Boeing in a metric country had equally difficult to memorize numbers

technically the 167,550 (76,000 kg) isn’t bold AND italicized any longer; modified in December. So
not saying you can’t be asked any of the limitations you are to be “intimately” familiar with; but things continue to be modified.

ETHOS is free to new hires. The guys above are talking about a different application. ETHOS is provided and approved, but NH pilots won’t have it until day one and you’re expected to know Flows, flows, flows, tasks, limitations, memory items, and standard callouts day two.

Tell that to TG in DFW who loves to ask obscure, yet pertinent non-bold & italicized limitations....
