My class had 12. About 8 121 CAs, 2 121 FOs, 1 135 CA, and 1 Atlas 74 FO.

I made sure I could afford the transition. I am way out of training pay and I survived. Couldn't be happier. I also go lucky with hotel. Free breakfast every morning, free dinner Mon-Thurs, rooms with kitchenettes. My hotel bill was 14k. haha. I got points even. I am diamond Hilton Honors. Not all will be this lucky though.
Where did they put you at?

Pretty much everyone is saying the year 1 pay grosses around $41K and that is it, this makes me think you are only on reserve that year and that is why you never break MG?
Thanks,

Gents, are you on reserve for the 1st year in a row or depending on base you can hold a line after a few monthe and fly some OG trips?

Someone hired two years ago, one year ago, and hired today will have very different experiences for how long they sat reserve.
Plan for 3 months of training pay, and at least one full year after that at minimum guarantee. If you get a line faster, enjoy the extra money.

I don't think everyone stays at the same hotel if what he said about the free meals is true. It used to be (and still may be) a Sheraton Suites property which has no free meals, so your training experience (and wallet) will differ greatly from his.

They use a bunch of hotels since there are so many. HH points will not be given automatically. Since what we are on was called a Master Bill, we are not eligible. I got lucky and fought for it before they nipped it in the bud. Yes, Spirit paid that much just for my hotel. It's no wonder why training pay is miniscule.
